The Cockleshell Preschool and Child Care Program is a non-profit community outreach of St James Episcopal Church. The mission of the Cockleshell is to enhance the social and educational qualities of children ages 3-5 by providing a safe environment in which early childhood education may take place, and to create a multi-ethnic, inter-religious social milieu to broaden the experience of both child and staff.
