VBS “SonWorld Adventure Park” July 14-18  9am-Noon Ages 3 – 11 Get your ticket for adventure and choose to believe! If you or your child is interested in joining the fun for Vacation Bible School this summer, please contact Jodi in the office to let us know if you will be attending!  We would like to know by July 1st!  Looking for a few good volunteers, and we need you!  We need help with decorating, food and kitchen help, games, bible stories, crafts and recreation, preparations you can do at home, or even a 2-hour shift from 10:00am to 12:00 noon.  This is a great way to minister to the children in our community!

RECTOR SEARCH STATUS
The Bishop interviewed all three of our rector candidates and we are happy to say she approved all three with earnest! Way to go search committee!! We are now in the process of confirming travel dates for all three candidates to meet with the Vestry for interviews. Each candidate will come out in July. The Vestry expects to make its final decision the weekend of July 26th.

CAN FOR A CUP
We need YOUR HELP TODAY at our “Can for a Cup” day at coffee hour.  We ask that in order to get a cup of coffee, you give a can of food. This is to help the food pantry which really needs support.  There will be a basket to collect the food in the narthex.  Thank you. 

PRAYER GROUP
Would you like to join a prayer group?  Everyone is welcome to join our newly formed group to pray for the needs of our parish family.  Please call Rolene Shoop at 562-9318 for more information. 

CHURCH OFFICE
The church office will be closed on Thursday, July 3, Friday, July 4 and Thursday, July 24.

 PRAYER STUDY GROUP
We are inviting anyone who is interested in meeting as a group on a regular basis for prayer to join us this Saturday, June 21st, 9 am, at Paradise Bakery. We are meeting initially to find out who is interested and what our interests are in forming a prayer group. This group is a different group from the group organizing to pray for people on our prayer list, but you can be a part of both groups if you wish. So please join us and get to know one another and more about prayer. 

ERD REPRESENTATION

YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE AT LAMBETH
Jim Brinkman, a former parishioner at St James, will be attending a pre-Lambeth meeting of youth delegates in the Diocese of Leicester. Do give thanks for this wonderful given him by Bishop Irish to attend this worldwide event.
