ABOUT OUR WORSHIP SERVICES
We use the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) to guide our worship and offer a Worship Bulletin for our principal Sunday service that will provide everything you need to navigate your time with us. Our Priests and Worship Leaders will
also offer some verbal cues during the service to guide you along.
We don't have a dress code. You'll find some folks dress in their Sunday best, others in jeans and a sweater.
Overall, we are a casual bunch. Come as you are.
After Worship you are invited to stay for Coffee Hour; a casual gathering in our Parish Hall for coffee, tea, a snack
and fellowship.
Children at St. James
Children's Chapel is held during Sunday Worship at 10:00am for children ages 4 to 11 in classroom A. Children's Chapel is Sunday School offered during worship. Children are with our leaders through the Offertory and then they join their parents/caregivers in Worship for the rest of the service. We are using the Weaving God's Promises curriculum.
Children are a welcome sight and sound in our Sanctuary for Worship. We encourage parents or caregivers to support children in following along with the service in whichever way works for you. If you are visiting with children will find our Children’s Corner in the Southwest section of the Sanctuary. Here you will find some books, quiet activities and drawing supplies.
